What can I do for you?

I am first and foremost a novelist and a playwright but I have experience in many other areas of writing.

I have produced scripts for attractions as diverse as The Museum of Lead Mining at Wanlockhead, Falkland Palace in Fife and the Interpretation Centre at Bannockburn as well as training audio scripts for a number of commercial companies such as Granada.

I have also written scripts about Django Reinhart and Stephane Grappelli for The Hot Club Two, programmes presented by (Kirkmichael based) jazz guitarist Martin Taylor for BBC Radio 2.

New for 2007 I have started an online business called The Scottish Home, a magazine site exploring a wealth of Scottish ideas and inspirations linked to my eBay shop selling antique and vintage interior design pieces, mainly textiles, with a Scottish theme.
